24 February 2022

MindTribes Founders, Div & Vick Pillay have built a reputation for making individual and system change for more equitable and inclusive workplaces in Australia. In just under 10 years the firm has scaled with no external funding cleverly leveraging technology for efficiencies; co-designing with clients as extended project team members, whilst building capability within client organisations; investing in research and micro-credential partnerships with The University of Melbourne and Deakin University, respectively.  Their client list has grown across the private, public and not-for-profit sectors.

Partnering with Michael Page is a growth and impact move and was a decision that was carefully and strategically made. Vick Pillay, a specialist in mergers, acquisitions and integration looked at the partnership from a due diligence perspective, across various metrics. Div Pillay assessed the relationship from a behavioural lens and had an insider view, as Michael Page executives were clients of MindTribes in 2021.  The preparedness to invest in equity and inclusion internally was a show of integrity and commitment.

“Excited is an understatement [about the partnership], we are ecstatic! Alone we can only do so much but together we are unstoppable”, Diversity & Inclusion Director, Page Group, APAC

Overall, Div & Vick Pillay felt that Michael Page showed deep care for members of their social enterprise, Culturally Diverse Women; and were prepared to be brave and bold to hold clients to account when engaging on talent needs. MindTribes will offer Michael Page clients; audit, data collection, advisory and capability programs to ensure that:

  • workplaces are building inclusive and psychologically safe environments
